The challenge of our client

One of the main objectives of the Cleaner production Center (CPRAC) is training and capacity building of organisations and enterprises across the Mediterranean countries, to foster sustainable consumption and production practises. To this end, CPRAC has joint forces to promote the introduction of sustainability criteria into event organization.

Services and solution

Cyclus, as experts on the organization of sustainable events, has supported CPRAC in the design, revision, communication, material development, tools and activities to boost training and capacity building on sustainable events. The tasks undertaken are:

• Revision of the Sustainable Events Toolkit (SET) to organise sustainable events across the Mediterranean countries.
• Design of a training course on sustainable events to professionals of the events industry.
• Training on sustainable events in Almería (Spain), Cairo (Egypt) and Athens (Greece).
